Ok check it out...

The 'main' YouTube problem is the one with 'cannot play video' or no sound and that is fixed (via registry) in recent builds.

This 'other' YouTube problem where you get 'connection failed' can be corrected by simply deleting the YouTube folder under \WINDOWS and then soft resetting. YouTube will recreate it (hopefully without whatever error was in it) and you should not need to delete it again.

Let me know if that doesn't work for you for 'connection failed' -- it just did for me on 7/29.

Hi people,

Can somebody with 07-29 tell me if the "AUTOMATIC PREPEND" is available?

I live in Dominican Republic and I'm able to make calls just by turning off that option.

It is on SETTINGS-PERSONAL-PHONE-SERVICES and the 7th Row...

Has anyone on 7/29 build noticed that the new WorldClock is working properly (ie. NOT going back an hour) for them?

I have Sashimi set to auto install Pyski's mapping for G-alarm but I forgot to set my city first so I could view weather in my calender. So I uninstall the mapping cab, click on WorldClock, set my city, go to start/settings/Clock&Alarms and set to Eastern time which shows 1 hour ahead. Reset TP and WorldClock (with new addons) is showing the right time.

I've continued to play around, explore, click on Clock and reset WITHOUT the previous WorldClock problems.

I don't think anything [in particular to fix the time sync] is changed on the new build(s), but you are describing what is always the basic correct process for making sure you don't have problems. All you should ever have to do anymore is make sure the World Clock and System clock timezones and times are both set correctly before you sync in your appointments, in other words:

1. Go to World Clock (click the clock) and confirm your time/zone there.
2. Go to Start>Settings>Clocks to set the timezone and time there.

Glad to hear it's working fine for you. With nothing more than that it should be working for basically everyone anymore...

I just tried to load the 07/29 rom and it does not work. The same as the 07/27 and the 07/28. It will not go past the phone starting up screen. I am on vzw. Has anyone been able to get a current release working on vzw?

You are right...but, the clock would still revert back if I opened WorldClock again after the soft reset. This is why I would install the mapping cab to make sure I did not reopen WorldClock after the "fix" and soft reset. Maybe I am mistaken. I do know that I can now open WorldClock multiple times and it does not throw the time back after opening or after a soft reset (without repeating the fix).
