You are right...but, the clock would still revert back if I opened WorldClock again after the soft reset. This is why I would install the mapping cab to make sure I did not reopen WorldClock after the "fix" and soft reset. Maybe I am mistaken. I do know that I can now open WorldClock multiple times and it does not throw the time back after opening or after a soft reset (without repeating the fix).
