If Crazyassfung is upset about the little bugs on this ROM...please nobody mention him about the Android port ... or he might go on www.connect-utb.com and beat the crap out of another group of guys that are investing time and effort on giving us one more way to play with our Touch Pro .

Is that really that much of a battery hog? Will set it back to manual update for tomorrow and see if there is a difference.
...could be contributing to the drain...depends more on how good your signal strength is most of the day. If this is accessing data more than your traditional set up, it could be the problem. The radio will eat battery up just searching for a solid signal to update.

Also, what build are you running? I did notice NRG mention something about the 23504 builds draining battery more than the 21684.

I, personally, have been rocking the 21864 Builds...I think they're a little better overall...for me.

same exact one i'm running. sittin at 67% today with a little GPS usage & customizing. Might have had it on the usb for 5 minutes earlier. seriously if you are using a stock radio, update it to a newer one. it works wonders for battery life / reception / gps usage imo

i've read other places about "recalibrating" the battery too. usually let it drain completely to where it wont turn on. charge it completely while the phone is off. once fully charged, you are good to go. i've read this is a good thing to do every 30-40 charging cycles (usually days for most of us) & is also sometimes necessary with a new rom flashing. GL just my information for ya

OK, just flashed Nov 10 Manila 2.5 Build 21684.

I slid to the Music Tab and it found all of the music on my device and loaded it into the Library...seems to have pulled from a bunch of locations on my storage card so long as it was a wma or mp3. ...not only "music", I have ringers too.

Actually, what *I* can't find is exactly how to tell it where to look specifically for Music files or how to knock files out of the Library. ...maybe we need to use Play Lists?

It's a very cool interface....rotating the screen gives yo a nice "cover flow" look.

As a first troubleshooting step, I'd look at the number of files you're trying to load up. If it happens to be a large number, try reducing the number of files, and see if that helps Sense locate them better? ...just a guess.

...but, from what I can tell, it's not looking specifically for a folder, it just grabs every playable file.

I'll keep playing with it.

...I think Winmo gave me a link to a wiki that talks about how you can condition your battery and get better performance. It should be in the Guide with the other battery stuff. There's discussion of it in this thread too, but the wiki has the specific steps to take. It, apparently, does wonders.

...dude, someone does NOT want you flashing a 2.5 ROM. I wish I had better advice to offer.

Re: |H|ROM|6.5.1|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Photon' (23081/21864) |Nov5| Manila 2.1 and 2.5

to all the other people bashing on me for whatever reason surely you guys dont understand...

the other day i downloaded a "nov 9 rom" (wasnt name 2.5 manilla, just said the usual #### energyrom nov 9...) when it first cameout and was the newest one on his download page. And it was a 2.5 manilla. Had way less problems ( none of the problems i had). somewhere late last night i saw a new version nov 10 with the 2.5. I downloaded and i saw the clock crap hanging off the rectangular box at the home screen. I didnt like it, so i downloaded the nov9 version thinking it was the original one i downloaded. It wasnt it, so i download all of them and none of them was it. so i just stuck with the latest 21864 nov10. and now im having all kind of problems. thats why im venting on this.

also the original nov 9 version i downloaded, i believe the vibrate function wasnt properly functioning, which i was glad.
