Bigger Yawn, the sources were said to be quoted straight from M$, so i'd believe that first before gizmoto. Anyway's, i mentioned it because a lot of talk in here about it, and since it's been pretty dead while we are waiting for the releases coming soon anyway, why not? I don't recall you asking any of all the other people bringing up the WM7 topic?? And since it IS relevant to hoping we might someday see a cooked up WM7 rom, but doubtful. Just trying to pass the time away since we're waiting, and it's been talked about a lot here lately. Ok, back to topic.

Oh, BTW- sources at XDA said an official spokeperson from M$ said WM7 isn't built on CE at all, which is probably why they said it will not be available as an upgrade, but rather on certain new machine's only. THAT is confirmed!!

If people at soooo many companies were saying 2011, more corroborating reports would already be out there. But instead other more reliable sites are reporting the exact opposite. BSN gives no names of people they spoke to at all, not even screen names. It's like saying a rep at Sprint said the HD2 is coming in a month and will be named the "Adonis" because some Sprint phone rep said it. But you can continue debating that BSN report without me. Not worth my time showing you anything further.

Okay, this is On-Topic...

PocketRAR - with all these EnergyROM releases.
When I open a RAR file with ToitalCommander, I am brought to some sort of "preferences" window tabs for associations, etc. for RAR and ZIP files. Now, there is no dialog box for "OK" or "continue", I have to quit TotalCommander (or press the task manager at top - I am running the 28011 build).

I should be able to open a RAR/ZIP file on my uSDHC card, then extract the contents to the root directory (I.e. ,to re-flash). It seems that I can't get past the association part of PocketRAR plugin for Total Commander. I searched here, and post #5864 seems to indicate that I should be able to do as I said (open and extract to uSD card).

What gives? Another registry CAB fix or something?

IDK if there is actually one but yea, I always have to go in Task Manager and end it then it works again for a bit

Thanks, that worked! Would have not thought to press one of the buttons as the phone is so screen touch-based.

I've been using this ROM awhile now but the latest version isn't working on my phone. I initially set it up with no problems but the next day it had rebooted itself then proceeded to re-flash itself. At this point it won't load far enough to be recognized by my PC. How can I flash it without it being visible though USB? Can I boot directly to the bootloader or something?

You can manually put it into bootloader mode by holding the power button and volume down while soft resetting.
