Re: |H|ROM|6.5.1|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Photon' (23071/21864) ** | Oct 22nd | Manila 2.1

i'm trying to use g-sensor to enable rotation in google maps, palringo or beejive IM, etc. i know the stylus issue, so i'm trying to do it manually by adding strings to the appropriate registry key. does anyone know how to determine something's window class? that's where i'm getting hung up... thanks.

So... how is everyone liking 23071? I love the polished look... but it takes a little getting used to when the bottom menus for different programs don't appear the way they should. The lack of a close button for some apps and no task manager is a bit annoying as well (and you can forget about running this in titanium). Still not sure if the enhanced bar is worth it...

I am really beginning to like 23071. It is much more touch friendly and allows more one-handed operation. I actually installed the taskmanager Quickmenu on it and it works. There is no icon for it in 23071, but if you tap on the top left hand corner it comes up fine.

You need to install the showcase setting cab..

You can hide showcase and still click the upper right corner to close programs.

here is the cab

I am using Showcase as recommended by some of the guys on here. It seems to do the trick for now... but its still a little bit clumsy. It does provide you with an x button closer/minimizer also.

Overall, 23071 is a decent bit more touch friendly though. You are right.

Yeah thanks! I got the memo (I atleast try to read back a few pages whenever I flash). It works for now... but I don't see it as the perfect solution of course. It feels a little awkward still. But it does work.

I really like the 23071 build, just had the issue with the function key on the hardware keyboard, but got a fix from some people here. Thanks to NRG and to everyone else who has helped me along the way. I have tried some other 6.5.1 builds before and nothing compares to the polish of a Energy ROM!

Keep up the good work NRG!
