Are you sure you have the correct Stock ROM? When relocking you need to use a shipped ROM and not a dumped one. I know it's the unlock/relock from SD thread but there may be some useful info here including the proper Stock ROM:

well unfortunately i got a few times the dreaded black screen... (i did not know what it was until i came back from lunch and saw that it is what you guys call it..---good name!!!)


I am almost to a point of asking that these 2 guys combine their work... i love some stuff from Indagroove and love some work from NRG... i know that someone will be pissed!!!...but this new ROM should be called IndaNRG or NRGGroove..or something around those lines...

Just checking but are the ones getting the screen going black by any chance running the 1:02 clock animation fix? Or maybe Max Manilla Ultimate? Just trying to pinpoint the issue as I had the black screen bug previously and removed the 1:02 fix and it seemed to work fine after that.

I thought of that too so i st my not to turn off when on battery power. It only turns off when i push the power button now and it still has the freezes! infact i did a soft reset to get out of a freeze and it froze again right out of the soft reset with the screen actually on. go figure.

I've return flashed phones several times, they ask how, I say I don't know, life goes on. Never had an issue with that.

I personally haven't installed either mod nor do i have any of the other things mentioned as possible culprits installed. but if removing the 1:02 fix might also fix the DBS (dreaded black screen) problem maybe i should try installing it and then removing it!

I'm getting the black screen again. It seems related to calls. For hours on stand-by, browsing, sms=no problems. Shortly after making a call the phone was unresponsive. Soft reset worked. Then shortly after ignoring an incoming call the same thing. No buttons work, kb light comes on when I slide out the kb but nothing, not even the power button does anything, soft reset again.
I'm stumped, going to paly see what I can see.
btw this is after 2 stock flashdances.

I don't think its related to NRG's ROM as I had the same problem a couple times over the last few days with Indagroove's ROM too.

Also I have to say that there might be other roms out there that don't have some of the issues like the DBS but no one has the latest builds like NRG and the little touches that he adds really make the diff 4 me! the fact that "my location" works in google maps is HUGE for me! and that he has the louder volume installed by default is awesome! the NRG experience is not equaled by anyone. just my .02

I was just jonesing for a new ROM a couple weeks ago and saw that Indas threads were growing fast so I decided to check out what was new over there.

Now that NRG has something new out for me to play with, its time for me to put on my dancing shoes and do the dance again. Besides, I have a break from my Orgo Chem class and have some time to play.

I do in fact like the louder volume on NRG's ROMS. Gonna do the dance here in a little bit.
