I'm not sure about that actually. I continued to talk last night to my girlfriend and all was well. Went to sleep, phone was fine. As soon as I sent one text message this morning, it did the black screen and I had to soft reset.

I have a feeling it is more to do with it turning off the display for you. It seems when I turn off the screen myself it is okay, but if it does it by itself, that's when this seems to happen (sometimes). Whatever it is though, it is almost a deal breaker for me, as I haven't had to soft reset my phone this many times in a while.

Also, I tested youtube app and it doesn't work for me on 28002, but I can't remember the last time I looked at youtube on my phone. Just wanted to point it out for the people who were wondering.

Gizelle: I am on Windows 7, and in order for me to move the PhoneSetting.dll I had to unhide "Protected Operating System Files" on my machine. If I didn't do this, the dll would not move to my phone.

Same here. Did the flash dance twice since last night. This is definitely a deal breaker. I can deal with youtube not working or even ringer not working but I can't have my phone blanking out for no reason. I am not which version should I got back to now. I love how fast this new build is but I just can't afford not knowing if my phone is working or not in my pocket.

Update:

I decided to just Hard Reset first. After that Windows SMS was back under messaging. I did a SPB Backup restore and just like magic everything is working. I seriously have no clue as to what would cause Windows SMS to just disappear but I'm back up and running. Oh, I did have to install Zenyee's HTC Messaging Disable cab though, but I have always had to do that with M2.5. I'll report back in a bit on my thoughts of WM28002 and M2.5.1921. At the moment I am loving it. It seems to be the fastest and smoothest M2.5 so far. Fingers crossed!!

I am trying to relock my CDMA Touch Pro But every time I try and open the relocker viva desktop i get that same error

"athena wrapper has stopped working"

Im running windows xp & have the latest net frame work installed idk what the problem

I have to return the phone tomorrow b/c the damn touch screen gave up on me & my keyboard dosen't work so hopefully I can get a new phone all together!

I know this is not the thread but any help?

Have you tried relocking from the card? How about restarting your pc? Much beyond that I'm not sure, good luck allamerican!

winmonewbie...I think i am at fault for your problems.... i prayed that you would get the same problems that I was getting...LOL

I AM SORRY...just kidding... but I actually thought i had screwed up something...


well unfortunately i got a few times the dreaded black screen... (i did not know what it was until i came back from lunch and saw that it is what you guys call it..---good name!!!)


I am almost to a point of asking that these 2 guys combine their work... i love some stuff from Indagroove and love some work from NRG... i know that someone will be pissed!!!...but this new ROM should be called IndaNRG or NRGGroove..or something around those lines...
