It might be something in EnergyROM's version of Manilla 2.1 becaues SsS's version of Manilla 2.1 the whole update thing works even without another location. Don't know if anyone can figure out why though. |

All he has mentioned in his tweets are WVGA devices... nothing yet about VGA. When he starts mentioning VGA, that time to get ready. |

the RAM "issue" is not really an issue....it is a feature of the newer builds of WM....Windows Vista/7 does the same thing. basically, certain programs and/or features of WM have dedicated slots of RAM to allow them to load/perform faster. you don't have to worry about it... being "wasted"...the OS is smart enough to clear that space if you need it. the only way you will see degradation in performance is if you max out your RAM with a single process, which on this phone is not impossible, but very hard to do. as far as what progs/features have dedicated RAM, i don't know and only the cook can say for sure(i can almost guarantee TF3d is one though...). i know many people use "free RAM" as a gauge of a ROMs quality, but this is an old "habit" from WM6- and earlier days when devices had minimal RAM. this does not apply to our device....even the Verizon Gimp Pro. trust me, "idling" at 50% RAM usage is in no way bad and has no adverse effects on your phone, it only makes it "better". 5. i initially noticed this too....i have found that using your favorite flavor of an auto-backlight changer helps with this and saves battery as well. the stock settings of NRGs ROM has the backlight set to the MAX all the time. changing this to a lower setting or using a dynamic backlight changer will help. some people here swear by a program called Lumos, but i find the built in settings in the ROM to work just fine....u can get to it right in the start menu....and hit menu->auto. i can't comment on the facebook stuff as i don't use it, and i have not experienced your other problems with manila....one thing that pops into mind is the "golden rule of flashing" though.....you did do a hard-reset after flashing didn't u?....if not, do one now....before u waste anymore time tweaking stuff that you're just going to have to redo anyway.... hope i helped...

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this problem. And I have come across it between this rom and mighty as well. When the phone is charging and you try to do something, sometimes the screen will turn itself off out of the blue. This occurred with and without the installation of programs such as pocket shield, S2U2. When I was with mighty, this is even worse. I am very glad I switched to energy, but I am starting to wonder maybe it's my phone???? And I've noticed that if you're charging, and talking and trying to do something on the side like check your calender, the frequency is higher that the screen will turn itself off.
