It works on mighty rom 6. I have used it with it until yesterday. I now have energy rom. I can also send and receive. Under your settings under connections does it say cricket. Check for that first.

Yeah I goto START //Settings // Connections //Connections //Advanced Tab // Select Networks, and I have Cricket selected for both "Programs that automatically connect to the Internet should connect using:", and "Programs that automatically connect to a private network should connect using:"

This is the message I get when I enter a url in the address bar and try to get online. To test I typically type www.google.com, or www.yahoo.com, and after a few seconds I get this message in both Opera and IE:

"Not Found

The Requested URL /Brandstore /go was not found on this server"

Afterword the url changes to:

http://mycricket.clearmode.com/brandstore/go?page=subscription

Everything you mentioned is to the T. I didn't change anything under EPST, password is 000000. I notice that when I add mymumber@mycricket.com and the password "cricket" and I go back into the the settings tab the password is way different. It should look like this *******, but its long like this ***************. I don't know why it does that, and I don't get a popup stating that the username and password is incorrect.

This network connects the the internet - enabled
This network uses a proxy server to connect to the internet - enabled

Proxy server - wap.mycricket.com

HTTP = wap.mycricket.com:8080
WAP = blank
Secure WAP = blank
socks = blank

when you go to connection settings and edit connection and the password is long ************ you have to retype cricket. Then don't go back.

X2 on the cabs in this thread not working on mighty 6. Itested it after I seen your post. I can get mighty to work, but it is a hassle, and I have been spending last couple days trying to get that hassle into one cab. Even if no one wants it, I'm at least working on it for me.

I'm actually going back to EnerygyROM this very moment. I've been flashing like a mad man all weekend. I'm going to stick with it for the week, and see what happens. I'll call cricket tomorrow and ask them to refresh my account. I'm intersested in your cab if you make it public. I really like MightyRom.

Holy crap. I hit gold. I was following this guide http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ricket+carrier and decided to test it out by going to www.yahoo.com and it loaded yahoo, but it changed the address to m.www.yahoo.com, so before I let it load I got excited and decided to try www.google.com and I got this error:

!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> This is Cricket-Web311

If I type the address as m.www.yahoo.com I get this error:

it changes from 11 to 12.

Ive hit something. I need to mess with the registry a little bit more. One of the strings in the guide wasn't in my registry (HKLM /software/arcsoft mms ua/config/UI
find EnableServerEdit and change it from 0 to 1
), but I read furture down the thread and someone mentioned having the same issue and if they should add the string to which someone replied that that one really doesn't matter. Does anyone have somemore registry tweaks that help you out. Please let me know. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Kind of

Blade, if you want to play with your reg, fallow my instructions well. the hassle i go thru to get any newer 6.5 roms to work are as fallows.

install the cabs below in the order they are numbered. one is an alltel cab. altell mms/wap are almost mirror to cricket with minor changes. when i said i got mighty 6 to work fully, this is how.

after cabs have installed, and phone has reset (depending on rom, you may have to reset after third cab even if it reset after second)

goto start/settings/connections/connections/advanced and set both settings to cricket.

goto text and selet pic/mms options (diff roms will be labled diff but you get the idea) goto servers. it will be labled Alltel MMSC, only for looks an you feel better, change alltel to cricket.

below that, delete gateway setting from alltel to blank.

bellow that, change www.alltel.com/servlets/mms to www.mycricket.com/servlets/mms with leadin http// untouched.

it will show connect via cricket already becouse of second cab installed and you doing connection settings priorer to this stage.

this is were it gets fun. send a pic msg to yourself (this is to ensure things are correct after you are done) it will then ask for your 10 digit number@mycricket.com and password. IT WONT SEND depending on rom, it will sit at 0%

open regedit
HKLM/software/arcsoft/configure/mm1/wspheader
creat new value/string (rom dependent on choice) and create
X-Cricket-MDN which should be a REG_RS (not dword) and set value to your 10 digit phone # (i.e 5125551234) and reset your phone

goto sms/mms outbox and find the msg you sent yourself and send it again (you need to open the msg and press send again at bottom left softkey)

after it sends, you will not recieve. goto regedit from above, you will find X-Alltel-MDN with your 10 digit phone number with a leading 1. delete that string completly and reset your phone. the msg you sent yourself will show. it will not kill your battery icon, and depending on rom, if speaker icon is there, it wont kill that either.

so far, energy rom is the only rom out, no matter what you do, sms sent notice from sys admin wont stop. other roms it doesn't send a notice. (i hate sent notice, something else to delete and pay attention to when phone is in picket while i'm busy)

this works on ALL roms, even ones labeled for sprint only. just don't press PRL update in those roms. worst part is x-alltel-mdn will re-write it's self from time to time without notice. msg will show, but not download, that is your cue to reset your phone if the string isn't there.

and that is what i have been trying to cab up. but wife has been on pc since last post, and i am doing this post on enrgy rom on my phone (including adding cabs below) i love this phone.

it is not as hard as it might seem, just time consuming. these are the settings i have on wifes diamond running on enrgy warhawk since it's release, and ran warhawk, longhorn, tech1, mighty 6, sielence, sielence/mighty, midnight, all sac worriers, psyki, black dragon,haze and now energy genisis 9/06 this way. i have had little to no luck running any cricket arcsoft cabs since build 23016 and 23409 builds are coming out now.
