Re: Touch Pro Cricket ROM
You still have to load the right PRL and make the right changes to he PST. But this is a ONE-STOP-SHOP for the ROM. Once you get the PST settings this ROM is all you need. Internet, MMS, SMS, GPS, and a lot of BS...LOL.

Re: Touch Pro Cricket ROM
Ok, things not working well for me. Wrote a tutoral for how I have flashed to cricket twice. Once using phone, one using laptop. I have no idea what happened to either one, and then my last post went out.
Answer to the question, a sprint tp can be flashed to cricket, but my experience to flashing roms on htc phones to cricket have lead to many headaches and constant maintance to work. Have flashed many roms, third phone (titan, diamond, and touch pro) and there is no "out of the box rom" for cricket. It sucks trying to keep the phone working dialy on cricket. Just my experience. Re: Touch Pro Cricket ROM
this ROM works great after manual programming; Sprint Touch Pro on Cricket. i don't see why this wouldn't work on a Verizon CDMA phone as well?
+1 there are no Out of Box solutions for Cricket. you will need to unlock, flash, and edit EPST settings yourself as the over the air programming may not work. often, you will also use the specific carrier CAB for your service this is the only Sprint phone i have encountered with a locked SPL/MSL code! i needed to use the registry log tweak to get it, then used CDMAWorkshop to write it to 000000. you could skip this step but writing in the code every time you flash SUCKS |

Re: Touch Pro Cricket ROM
I have a Verizon Touch Pro on CricKet. It works fairly well with the exception of the special Verizon crippling of the RAM and such which problems would still be there regardless of carrier.
When I want to update my PRL over the air I go into the EPST settings and update it with the 1042 PRL (attached). I do a *228 after it restarts and CricKet updates me with the newest PRL. This is the way for me to update because of not having a supported CricKet phone. As far as ROM's go I've had the best luck with Calkulin's 6.5 Kitchens. They seem to be the most trouble free and have given me the best results. For my MMS I just use the cab in this thread that has been a serious frustration reliever: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ricket+arcsoft Follow these instructions on setting up your EPST settings and you should have an awesome working phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=492824 Everytime you flash a new/different cook's rom make sure you check your settings because occasionally I've had a couple of areas revert to xxxxxxxx@xxxvzw.com. Haven't notice some of the other settings to be a problem. These solutions have worked so far to solve these area's of concern. I've never messed with a Sprint Touch Pro to see what other issues can arise. I'm pretty sure you can put on these settings and roms on the Diamond and be just fine. Ask around if you have any other questions. |
