Hey JP thanks a million. I will definitely try this out after work tomorrow. I would do it now, but its late, and the wife is coming back from out of town, so she'll get mad if I'm messing around with my junk, and not spending time with her. Anyways. I got something to happen today with MMS. I hade a co-worker of mine send me a picture message and it came through this time allowing me to download where as before the download key would be greyed out. I would go ahead and download this time around, but right at 99% the download progress screen would cut off, and then nothing. So its attempting to now, but not solid yet. I will install the cabs you provided, and just to be on the safe side I will soft reset after each.

I think I found it. Waiting an a 8-10 kb/sec download showing 1 plus hours. I will see if it works. My phone is also my test phone, and today it had enough. It has been on, flashed, testing and so forth for over a week, cooking from being so hot. Now the screen only comes on when phone is hot. So I am getting to the point were it will be cooked completely. Unemployed has given me plenty of free time. But broke and cant afford a new phone.

My post time is 9:25 pm, take that into account when I say I will try to have it up by tomorrow night.

Success. I followed your instructions and got picture mail to work. There are a few steps I skipped:

"goto text and selet pic/mms options (diff roms will be labled diff but you get the idea) goto servers. it will be labled Alltel MMSC, only for looks an you feel better, change alltel to cricket."

I couldn't find it. I did however find something by going to Start // Internet // Send & Receive All. Then Menu // Pic/Video Options... From there I went to the server tab and it was set/named to cricket. This actually took me to the arcsoft settings.

If I click on the default connection which was named Cricket it takes me to other options with the name and gateway along with server address and port number. Everthing was on par except the gateway had a "u" for the value. I deleted that and left it blank.

The first time I sent myself picture mail it said it couldn't, then after the steps following that it actually sent it through, but it wouldn't allow me to download the picture to view like you said would happen. Battery meter works, speaker icon visable. This is really great. Your guide should be stickied. The only thing thats not working is the internet, but I am making progress. I couldn't find X-Alltel-MDN in the registry where I was messing around in, but I know I've seen it before using the other guide. I suspect that may be why the net may not be working still. I'll find it and delete it. I want to thank you again for the help. Alot of people I can imagine ask the same questions over and over again, and I want to thank you for giving a noob some help.

Edit: Alright... Yes we have liftoff. I found the string, and killed it. I deleted that motha, and the internet is working. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

noob here. About to try this flash on an HTC Touch Pro from Sprint. I see that Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) is included in Drunk's ROM (from hofo). What about GPS, is it unlocked? Also, can the TP do ICS over bluetooth? Some PPC's call this BT DUN, at least that's what it was pre-windows mobile 6.

Welcome to the fun Dave. Don't bother with internet sharing, a dial up modem is 56k, cricket limits your net speed on your phone to 11k. There is a program out called WMWifi router, great program if you have sprint speed of 2+gb but you have better luck writing things down on paper and using snail mail then using cricket net to power your laptop or home pc for a net connection. Yes I have tried.

Blade (or anyone else interested) I have edited a bunch, added, and changed things, it is not as easy as counting the stars in the sky. Since this is my first attempt ever, I'm sure there will be flaws, but I haven't givin up yet. I was going to make the cab so that cricket password was in it, but after thought, if password was in then it would not pop up to insert your phone number. You will need to myphonenumber@mycricket and password cricket. If I had the dough to purchase the program instead of 30 day trial ($100 so don't offer to donate for my work) I would tell you to PM your phone number and I would make you a specific cab for you only (per person). I have had some luck with getting phone to come on, so I can test before posting.

When done, you shouldn't need to soft reset after mms comes. (shouldn't now but sometimes data refuses to disconnect)

The hofo dunk OS is out of date, try newer roms, I suggest energy's roms.

I have hit a snag on the internet issue. I don't care much for the internet per se, but I would like it to work so that I can get weather updates, or even use the youtube app to look at vids, or even be able to log onto windows live and things of that nature. I'm able to go to google and yahoo, but when I search for things there or go to other webpages I get an invalid page message or error messages. Doesn't make sense.

No such luck on that snag. I've hard reset the phone and followed your instructions again but mms/wap still not working. I was looking into toO's Roms, but they have been taken down. Don't know much about ToO, but I understand his Roms worked very well with Cricket, and something about a Seriel... Don't know what thats about. Anyways I'm rambling. I was going to switch to MightyRom 4 to see if it could be a WM6.5 issue, and see if 6.1 would be better off.

In my directions when you goto sms/mms hit the right soft key MENU and scroll down. That is where pic/video/mms options is in options labled at bottom find servers. That is where you need to delete www.alltel.com in gateway and change the alltel to mycricket in server address. I got things done. but getting it back into a cab and working has become a hick-up. Was going thru it agian when notice popped up you replied. I get stuck, I'll post my progress and files if you can help. Not sure what I am doing, but positive on what needs to be done and what edits are needed.
