This cab will enable the hardware keyboard predictive contacts in sms. It's the windows predictive text but it still works.

You lose the symbol key though...

have you actually tried it? it was one of the first thing I tried and it didn't work

I FIXED THE CONTACT PREDICTION KEYBOARD PROBLEM!

Give me a few minutes and I'll have a cab

Gotta trace back my steps and see which of the changes were unnecessary

yep, it's not the nice ezinput predictive text, it's the classic windows, but it works for entering contacts in sms and email with hardware keyboard.

BUT, it looks like you have the real fix coming soon.

thanks for that ruskiyab, btw are you able to get into the Touch Input Options in Personal settings? i always shut off xt9 and auto spell correction but now i can't seem to get into it.

No, I was not able to get into the settings but what you're looking for is the XT9Settings, there's a file called XT9Settings.exe in the \Windows directory, just run it and change whatever settings you need in there
