I love the mightyrom except for the menus

I can't agree with you enough. The menus are AWFUL. And the after hitting the Start button I couldn't believe the way they are just randomly placed.

I am coming from a MR4 and the large, finger friendly menus, were great! How do I get those back in this ROM????

Re: MightyROM6 -- www.MightyROM.com [Windows Phone® 6.5] [Final]

How's does flashing to the stock rom before flashing a custom rom help? Does the Stock Rom clean/install files that help with a custom rom? seems like an extra step for nothing.

Also when you install the stock rom before a custom rom do you do the whole clear storage thing a few times on the stock rom then install the custom rom?''

Thank you!

Linked a thread over at XDA. This is what i use. I go into Total Commander to set up folders to organize my Start Menu the way i want it.

That's not true. The phone breaks it up and sends two (or more) messages depending on the message size set (in this case 130). It's the same as if you were typing a story and clicked send right after the 130th character.

I tested it. I sent the same 130+ character text message twice, once with the 130 cap, and once with a 160 cap and they were different on the receiving end.

Would you say MR4 was faster or slower? Also, is it true reception is better in mr4?

Yeah. I flashed to Sprint's new TP ROM. Working fairly well so far. Even has slide to answer. Hate 6.1 scrolling though, which is why I went to 6.5 in the first place, but I've had my TP for a few months now and it's less of a toy and more of a thing I need to work, so I said goodbye to 6.5, for now. I'll revisit after it is officially released.

A friend just went from MR6 final back to MR4 and he said it is much faster. I will have to ask him about reception.

I had trouble deciding between MR4 (never ran it) and the new Sprint one. I can say that the new Sprint TP ROM finally gives me the reception I had before I flashed to MR5. It comes with the new 1.12.34F radio and 2.34 PRI, as well.

Though I am not entirely convinced the reception is actually better, or if they just have a different scale for bars (and yes I know about the 5 vs 7 bar thing and that's not it).
This post has been thanked 1 times.
