glad ez input is included. i think alot of people like the 2.0 version, but the one you have listed is not the newest one juicy is using. having anything cooked in though, i believe is the correct decision. thanks for the update.

I've discovered that the ONLY way I can keep my backlight from turning off now (after 30 seconds) is by running WMWiFiRouter (and not necessarily running the WiFi off of it or USB data connect, but instead just having it run in the background).

Then and only then will my backlight remain on all the time within other apps -- which isn't necessarily a good thing or a solution im comfortable with.

Nevertheless, I tried uninstalling WmWiFiRouter (v. 1.50) thinking that too could have been the culprit, but uninstalling it does nothing for me.

Something else is causing this, and most likely as I noted, the Internet Sharing app is the first one that comes to mind.

Thanks Mike for all of your efforts, seriously.

Despite whatever issues may exist, I feel indebted to you for all of your hard work, and without your "Data' tethering hack, I wouldn't even be able to post this since I am without my Comcast internet...so thanks again, will download, and if the backlight issues are also fixed with this release then I will be even more greatful for your efforts.

Will test. Will post results.

He didn't release it yet, hold on there

When its released it'll be on his site and the title should be updated. A link will magically be materialized by mighty in the download section as well.
