I've discovered that the ONLY way I can keep my backlight from turning off now (after 30 seconds) is by running WMWiFiRouter (and not necessarily running the WiFi off of it or USB data connect, but instead just having it run in the background).
Then and only then will my backlight remain on all the time within other apps -- which isn't necessarily a good thing or a solution im comfortable with.
Nevertheless, I tried uninstalling WmWiFiRouter (v. 1.50) thinking that too could have been the culprit, but uninstalling it does nothing for me.
Something else is causing this, and most likely as I noted, the Internet Sharing app is the first one that comes to mind.
