I haven't tried it yet so I have no idea if it works or not.

To replace your favorites with opera, you'll need the Showaco Chrome Editor and Showaco Opera Favorites. With the chrome editor you can move around the titanium tabs, disable the IE favorites, and with the Opera favorites tab you can add opera on your front screen. I don't remember the links, but search for it in this thread. It's over at XDA and works fine.

That only makes it the default when clicking a link in email or whatever. I believe he's talking about replacing IE on the titanium front with opera. You'll have to do what i said above.

I thought my link to XDA was the link to the thread where you can download it.

Those "some others" are the folks that need to learn how to use the search feature. I and several other folks here addressed that issue at least a half dozen times earlier in this thread when Mike first changed to the .exe format. I know, screaming SEARCH doesn't do much good here but it makes me feel better

Re: [ ROM ] [ CDMA ] [ HERMAN ] [ 05.24.09 ] [ Windows® Build 21234 ] MightyROM5

Thanks for the many great information on the new ROM. A quick question--how do I find the PIM to restore my previous text messages and phone contacts? Maybe it is just me, but I can't this in the new ROM. Thanks in advance.

Mike didn't put that in this ROM. Try the Microsoft MyPhone. I think you'd like that better anyways.

If the PIM is not included in this ROM, can I install it individually? I try to locate the add-on, but can't find it outside a cooked up ROM. Thanks for any help.

Where did you look for it? Go to the main forum here, find this thread, and before clicking on it, click "files" on the right hand side. Look in there for PIM backup and install it.

For Users Who Would Like To See Their DATA Connection Go Into "Idle" State:

I removed the older signal bars and replaced them with the 6.5 signal icons due to the nice, rounded look of them. Drawbacks of this is that it will always show your data is "active" when in fact it is not!

For users who wish to revert to the older signal icons, please install the cab attached.

Thank you!

p.s. I haven't tested this cab myself, but go ahead and give it a try, should work.

And remember to soft reset after install!
