I just purchased a HTC Touch Pro from Verizon. I unlocked it and installed SSK's 6.1 ROM, but can't get GPS or MMS to work. I found some links to this site regarding a fix for that and discovered Bored's ROM. I would like to try it, but can't get past the Page Pool issue. This appears to be insanely complicated to set the Page Pool file to 8MB instead of 16MB. I have found old links from '06 and '07 regarding some Hex editors and changing nbf to nba with little info as to what he is talking about or where to find these files.

So, can anyone tell me if there is a way to run this ROM easily for a Verizon phone? If not, is there a GPS fix and MMS fix for SSK's ROM on this site?

I flashed the rom and restored my backup and it kept freezing on load... gonna clear storage 3 times this time around... near brick scare!

sdconfig, sdconfig, sdconfig. Search for it, and also provisioning.xml. Must have tools for a flashaholic!!!

So, I know Mighty said that the data isnt on, its the icon not changing and all...But I truly think my data is staying on till I manually turn it off. If I click on the notification bar, and check the menu with all that info that comes up (shows when you have tons of notifications and all), it shows " DATA 00:09:26 (or whatever time"

And if I turn off my data connection it clears that.

So maybe its just me....But how do I get data to turn off when not active?

Edit: BTW, I have tried adv config, and it messed up my calls and such, and when I go in a fix the reg it messes up it no longer turn off data after a minute.

so any solution to actually allow you to use the screen during UC? someone said to go to start-->seetings-->screen and align the screen manually. thats all well and good except for the fact that you cant click the start menu to get into settings.....

I recently flashed to the new mightrom 5, and then performed a hard reset. After the reset, I installed the Telus radio.

When I text someone, the phone sends the same text 10-20 times, is this a radio or rom problem?

You can't wait till after the customizations run their course before attempting to recalibrate the screen?

Does it save apps (serial registered) and contacts and all that? Will it work if you use completely different Roms? Like say I backup with Mighty then flash to juicy or Juggalo-X?

If so, then it is completely worth the 30 bux!
