There is also the stock lock and S2u2 from wm6.5. A few things when running that app:

No way around the password to unlock, but it kinda defeats the purpose of a "Lock" application anyways. But the resolution is great.

Then there is the small flicker when a call is coming in. I get the stock notification popup very briefly before the sliding screen shows up.

Or the sliding2answer becomes unresponsive. I get missed calls. I call my phone to test. I might miss 2 call from 10, because of the slider no answering the call.

There are other more rigoruos settings that can save more life to your battery. Please search the main forums.

Remember, all phones are setup differently and changes affect each phone in a different way.

I have spent many days tweaking MR5 with issues. One of them being battery life. Once we realize its performance is nowhere close to MR 4.16, we can move forward with wm6.5. and enjoy our phones once again.
Since i check email manually most of the time anyways, having it set to push does me really no good. The tradeoffs for battery life is just not worth it. If you shut that "push email" off, you'd have TONS more battery life. I have my data disconnecting after 1 minute. i have hardly any modifications and my battery life is great.

I think thats a major key. "The push mail off". Unfortunately, we are gonna be comparing our phone performance with MightyROM 4.16 for a while. I had .great battery life with out changing push email off on 4.16.

So now with MR5, we have to find settings and tweaks to the phone that will enhance our battery life, to what it once was....

Right now my settings and my radio choice, has gotten my battery life fairly close to what it was...
