thanks, Calk. I think using Showcase is easier, though. I actually like it better because it seems the MS notification bar performs better now.

Phone - Tachi PhoneCanvas 4.10.34656.1 and Phone Dialer - Tachi PhoneCanvas - XXX (4 choices for skinning) should be the only dialer options selected. for me i also have one of the phone call log options selected, but dont know if that is a requirement.

as for me this combo works with none of the issues described

Hahah in fact I did, I realized it after I posted this morning. I moved to the new v4 kitchen and forgot to delete tne other phone canvas's I do not use and they where enabled by default. Hah

Yes, it seems to impact the battery life a little negatively.
I don't mind though, It's soooo worth it. I've even Converted this to module and use it as my only driver selected in the kitchen.

Psyki, I did convert almost all of those modules back to files, though I haven't hacked at the EXT to find which one does the breaking.

Spb uses less RAM than Manila, so even the gimped Verizon versions should be ok running it

Out of all the ROMs that I've tried, about 5, this is my favorite one. The problem is though that I can't use this one because I constantly get low on memory errors. When looking at the Memory, it says that there is about 85MB available and about 80MB of that is being used. I think that I have an 'older' VZW TP (RAPH500?), and I don't think that my phone handles the dynamic RAM allocation correctly. The system info says that I have 192MB of RAM. I read about how to change the Pagepool, but I have not been able to successfully change it, either with the hex editor or with the Pagepool changer, in order to get it to be static or to allocate more than 100MB of RAM to memory. I would really like to use this ROM, so any help would be appreciated.

Would anyone be able to tell me why my galarm no longer works with the past few built roms of Calks? the first few 6.5.1 roms worked and the one that had it cooked in about 4 roms ago worked fine but the past few have not... i will explain whats happening,,, i'm at wits end.

I'm using calks built rom 23064 and i have S2U2-1.62-VGA, arcsoft and galarm 1[1].5.1 installed only... i've always installed these three apps and have never had a problem before until recently... so the problem is that galarm does not sound. if i look at my phone when my alarm is about to go on it will be lit up at the s2u2 screen and frozen, i will slide it and it will be blank and i have to reset my phone... then when my phone resets and load the alarm will go off sometimes, depending how quickly i reset. if my phone is on and i do a test alarm and dont let s2u2 take over (basically i keep the phone awake) my alarm will go off fine... this would make me think there is something happening with s2u2, but its always been fine before. i tried klaxon and had issues as well. and the default windows alarm will make a sound for a 1/2 second... it wont play a whole alarm tune so it wont even wake me up 90% of the time... please help!

p.s. i've cleared storage to hard reset 2 times when flashing new rom, hard reset before new flash and after, and flashed this rom 2 seperate times...

Hey Calk,

RR33 over at xda has made a new Clock with a SenseLIKE Background and still have the ability to change the wallpaper. I've made tons of OEMs and EXTs and never had problems but for some reason I can't seem to make a package that will actually work in the kitchen with this. Would you mind taking a look a my package and cab?? To see what you can come up with??
