I built my ROM using the kitchen based on build 23064. I removed Manilla and included Mobile Shell 3.5. I have a memory usage at around 40-45%. Everything works fine.
I don't know the impact of modifying the pagepool setting and if I should do it. What I understood from previous posts is that it is set to 6MB if I do not change it.
