Is it true that, with nk.exe+native 6.5 kernel, the major benefit of using modules is the faster access to the files through memory mapping?
I swear I'll stop asking about this once I grok it.
You free up Slot 0 by recmodding when you are using a WM 6.1 NK. WM 6.5 allows you to use more modules without cluttering up Slot 0

Oh ok. I was going off of the program names recmod.exe(module->file) and reversemode.exe(file->module).
That must be my mixup. So the general term recmodding means to have prepared with modules?
Sorry to be so literal/dense but module-how-to seem like one of the best kept secrets... Like a Chef's Special Sauce, hehe.

Before we had the WM 6.5 Kernal there were things we had to recmod. They still have to do that with the CDMA Diamond since they don't have a native kernel and that system is for a Diamond so its recmodded, so certain modules are recmodded to files.

dude, the files have the "hidden" attribute. You need to show hidden files in your file explorer.

T.Martin how do you get rid of the background for all, changed clocks already but the background stays the same whether I select it in the kitchen or not

When can we expect an update to the Touch Pro kitchen?

Thanks,
