Probably a dumb question but... How do you get the xip in the rom folder?
when I extract a new sys it has the sys, the xip for shared, but no xip for the touch pro folder under rom

just make a copy of 23506 and rename it to 28008. Reuse the same rom oemxip for each build. so under the touchpro folder rename 23506 to 28008 or make a copy and rename it.

I'm getting nbhutil errors everytime I build, again. Which part of the kitchen does this normally point to being corrupted?
I'm just not having any luck when I import a new SYS unless I start from scratch.

Luckily, I do have a really solid 28002 ROM to hold me over but I really like the responses to batterylife w/ the 28008 builds.

EDIT: Prayers to the WinXP gods were answered... a good temp-folder-deep-cleaning, a couple of reboots, and the 28008 built just fine. Thanks for the SYS welrope

sorry, i was mistaking these EXTs with aonther one, the one i am refering to is manila clocks - transparent white. in 7zip, the files show, but when i extract them, even if i do one by one, it wont show in my computer! do you have another EXT or maybe a cab?

Its converting modules to files....it frees up space in slot 0 but with the native 6.5 kernel we don't really need to do it.

I don't have a cab....I can rar just that and post it or like I said, you can use the ones from Calks WVGA Touch Pro2 Kitchen.

this is one of those things I wish I understood better...
I thought modules freed up the space in slot 0 by allowing them to be memory mapped to a slot other than slot 0?
Is it true that, with nk.exe+native 6.5 kernel, the major benefit of using modules is the faster access to the files through memory mapping?
I swear I'll stop asking about this once I grok it.
