yes. just press the back arrow and you should be good to go. Ex. open rar, then press the hard button (<-) or the back arrow! This should do it.

Unless you have HTC Notification Enhancement cooked in this does make the phone "boot faster". Technically... It helps the TodayScreen draw Manila faster (you know, which is one of the parts of bootup).
It's a registry entry from e-Natives Showcase or position fix that cues the drawing of the Today screen.
It's described over at xda on the e-Natives App page.

You could always test it yourself... it is a beta program :/
Just change the reg and boot a couple times, checking HKCU\Performance

That's a little disappointing....saw v4.1 out there with 23071....but when I downloaded the kitchen it wasn't there....
