I am running standard SKIROM with max manila 2.7 and it is working just fine as for VGA. Now I do have th problem texting and icons are in the way of the text box in landscape mode. Other than that I am ok with that. I am waiting on the fix from someone.

Sorry Winmoonebie if I am wrong on this, but that is how I was reading it.

thanks...Jarrod
I am running the new max2.7 on the Standard and I am not seeing an issue in LS.....weird.... This set up is flast NASTY (good)!!!

Gonna have to do some digging bro. Tsowens WM6.5 custom Taskbar threadis full of info on the subject as well as the quirks to 6.5.x. You can also google Bilbobrian or M6 they both also have versions that will work but may give you a few minor bugs. They are also discussed in the Tsowen wm6.5 thread. In other words---Just Flash It!!!!!!!!

Re: [ROM] SKI-ROM v4.0 Build 122109 CE OS 5.2.28011 M2.5/M2.1 - Sashimi Compliant

First off, I like the this ROM, but there are a few problems I don't understand. For one, the weather database is the pits. I can't find my city or anyone elses. It does say Chicago, but I don't live there. I rather have my own location in there, because the northside temps can vary greatly from the southside. Second, I can seem to find a tab for programs. In the last 100 ROMs I loaded there was a tab for program Icons. But I can not find one here. I think I will try the Sense 2.1 next. The clock on this one is a little small.

Re: [ROM] SKI-ROM v4.0 Build 122109 CE OS 5.2.28011 M2.5/M2.1 - Sashimi Compliant

Couple bugs I've found:

When on the pictures tab, after you click on a picture to go full screen, the whole phone freezes, and it's off center (requires a restart). I reflashed, to see if this was an issue with my flash, and found that it wasn't.

Also, when going landscape, everything slows way down.

If this is a repost to what has been posted before, I apologize. Other than that, nice work, and I look forward to seeing future releases of this rom.

OK, I installed the Sense 2.1 Build 122509 ROM now, didn't care too much for the other one. But there is still the problem with the weatherbase. Anyone have an idea on how I can update it?

JVH3 Weather data base editor 2.1 has worked for me on ALL 2.5 ROMs I have loaded bro.(It's been updated for 2.5 but I haven't upgraded with no issues) I live in a little podunk town and have to use it to get my weather in my area. For some reason on my device with ANY custom ROM I have ran My Weather by Google only works perfect when I am roaming or on a 1x connection.... Google Maps works perfect regardless. GPS finds sats quick. It's an issue with my device without doubt now....I have had four of them in my studies.

Here is the the link for the editor.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=546141

Great, it worked. Thanks a million.. Now is there a way to get rid of the "my location" and replace it with my city?

I assume you are talking about the Sense 2.1 ROM? I did not see any of those issues when on that ROM, I'm on MaxDusk now.

Re-flashing and having the same issue does not prove it wasnt the flash. Without re-writing the radio you could still have files written to the wrong location.
That ROM is lighting quick in all aspects. You may want to try to flash to stock, hard reset, flash SKI, hard reset. This process re-writes the radio and gives a much better chance of having a good ROM set up. It is not required by any means, but when issues like yours arise it may help.
Good luck.

I'm using the 12/23 M2.5 Max Dusk build. I'll try "the dance".

As long as you are dancing you should come on up to the 12-25 build.

So now that I now your build, I am definitely not seeing those Album issues.
Now I need to ask-when are you trying to go to Landscape. This is a Manila 2.5 ROM that does not have FULL Landscape. The Landscape features it does have-Album & Music by turning the phone work well. Opera and Messaging work in Landscape without issue.
Other features like Google Map will work in the Horizontal plane by rotating the screen-long press send key.
Hope that helps and while the 12-25 is a small upgrade, I'd recommend it.
Note you will see "Sense 2.1" in the Start up animation but ignore that, ahuskins is aware.
Enjoy!!

Just FYI-There is no Program Tab in Sense 2.5. I'm sure you'll enjoy Sense 2.1.
