Re: [ROM] SKI-ROM v4.0 Build 122109 CE OS 5.2.28011 M2.5/M2.1 - Sashimi Compliant

Great, it worked. Thanks a million.. Now is there a way to get rid of the "my location" and replace it with my city?

In the last 100 ROMs I loaded there was a tab for program Icons. But I can not find one here. I think I will try the Sense 2.1 next. The clock on this one is a little small.
Just FYI-There is no Program Tab in Sense 2.5. I'm sure you'll enjoy Sense 2.1.

Thanks for letting me know. So far everything is fine with 2.1, but it is sure hard to connect to the laptop. Have to try several times before it connects.

Also, when going landscape, everything slows way down.

If this is a repost to what has been posted before, I apologize. Other than that, nice work, and I look forward to seeing future releases of this rom.
I assume you are talking about the Sense 2.1 ROM? I did not see any of those issues when on that ROM, I'm on MaxDusk now.

Re-flashing and having the same issue does not prove it wasnt the flash. Without re-writing the radio you could still have files written to the wrong location.
That ROM is lighting quick in all aspects. You may want to try to flash to stock, hard reset, flash SKI, hard reset. This process re-writes the radio and gives a much better chance of having a good ROM set up. It is not required by any means, but when issues like yours arise it may help.
Good luck.

Are you talking about Active Sync? Try erasing the partnership off of the PC and starting over. That has worked for me in past.

The new download SKIROM_Standard_Build_122509 is using Sense 2.1? Can I still install the Max 2.5 v2.7 on that ROM?

EDIT: Tried it and it works fine.

EDIT2: I notice that you changed the top right icons from the green and black ones you used in the previous build. I kind of liked the all green and black "theme" you used previously. Is there a cab to put those back?

I have the same prob...Anyone come out with a fix? I'm running Build 122309.

EDIT: Also have a prob w/ opera. I can't close it out. When I hit menu in Opera, nothing happens. have to hit home hadr button, then close it out thru task mgr.

Works GREAT for everything else...thx

Standard is a standard 2.5 build w/ no cooked in special themes. The taskbar icons you mention are part of the Dusk package. MaxManila 2.7 works great on the Standard build.

The 2.1 build is flat fast nasty!

Re: [ROM] SKI-ROM v4.0 Build 122109 CE OS 5.2.28011 M2.5/M2.1 - Sashimi Compliant

Great Rom!!
On thanksgiving I made the mistake of going to my USCC store and playing with the TP2 sense. I hated the CE start menu all the way back to when CE was released on PPC. So I downloaded every sense rom I could find on 3 forums and the only one that was up to snuff (imo) for every day was Indagrooves. You have definataly taken sense to the next level!!

I like the idea of max, but I drive truck 500 a day and I need a rom that is as finger friendly as possible, so I have settled on the standard and have to say this one is smooth!! Of course then you turn around and release a 2.1. So many roms, so little time . GREAT WORK.

SKIROM_Standard_Build_122309:
Every sense that I have run so far has had the same little glitch. Follow a missed call from the taskbar and the keypad button is buried. Easy work around is to just hang up and then redial.

Sure is. Click on the clock on home tab to go into the World Clock AFTER you have added your custom city and loaded it in the weathertab. You should see your custom city, if not just click the add city button, add it, and switch the clock from My Location to your custom city. BOOM done deal brotha.
