I flashed to this ROM a couple days before Christmas and haven't had any problems whatsoever until today. Today, I picked up my phone and it was at SKI-ROM 4.0 splash page. I have done multiple resets and it either hangs there or at the "Touch Pro" splash page just prior to the SKI-ROM splash. I have tried removing and replacing the battery to no avail. When I attempt a hard reset (Down Vol & Enter and then reset while holding down volume and Enter) and it still hangs at the splash page. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Does it go to the Tri-Color screen?
If not the problem is probably hardware.
Volume down/Power and reset till you get to tri-color.
If it does go to tri-color then try another flash but do a stock flash first.

Ski roms are rock solid so it has to be the device or a bad flash.

Never makes it to the tri-color screen. Even with the hard reset it still goes to the SKI splash page. I tried removing the memory card too and repeated hard reset. Maybe time to get a new phone!

What process are you doing to hard reset?

Post your exact procedures here please so we may understand exactly what is going on.
If Volume down/Power down and reset for about 3-5 seconds doesn't go to bootloader there has to be a device problem.

Exact procedure is while pressing down volume and Enter (circle thingy), I tap the reset button with the stylus. Continue to hold down volume and enter for about a minute and then give up. During that minute the phone goes to the HTC splash that shows the release, ROM etc... it sometimes hangs here and other times it goes to the SKI-ROM splash page and stops there.

Try this, turn the phone OFF completely. Hold the Volume Down and the center of the D-pad and the Power button until you get the message about a hard reset. Let go. It will prompt you to hit the Up volume button to hard reset.
Good luck.

EDIT: Sorry-Volume Down and Ceter of Dpad, THEN also Power button.

There are some audio programs that may boost it, but wait till you finish set up and test it. Mine is LOUD.

If you think it still needs boosting try this cab, I've never used it but read that it works:
