I know but even though I have the full TB pro it wont let me do that. But HTC sync doesn't work I need it to work for my contacts. That's where all my contacts r at. I like this rom and its nice and fast but if HTC sync doesn't work I'm gonna go back to the rom I was on before if I can't get it to work.

i can only help u by telling u to search on xda and goolge... there isn't really a full step-by-step guide made yet that really covers everything there is to cover but reading a bunch of threads and looking up some youtube videos will teach u a lot.
i also think that somethings u cant find... u will just have to kinda learn yourself... at least thats what i did.
keep in mind that no one will tell where is the file that does this or that... thats your job for the most part... thats why it takes so long to theme every tiny thing and thats why... without try to brag about it... you will never find any theme out there for htc sense for the evo that has as much work put into it as mine.
no one bothers with the small stuff and i also think a lot of people dont know where all the small things are.
from what i noticed so far htc does a lot of tricks with the way they theme things up... it is a s if they have 50 different people working on it and none work in the same style of coding and such.

im not sure how to help u with this one man... i never synced my phone to anything else besides google.
i would suggest to remove the app and driver, restart... and reinstall htc sync... thats the only thing i can think of... maybe u can tell me waht rom u used before and it did work for u.

I have a folder on my SD card from like 3 years ago and it has about half of my contacts. And when trying to sync with Google it only syncs those. I uninstalled HTC sync and re did it. This rom is greatly themed and vary fast. I would really like to keep using this rom but with not HTC sync I can't use it.

u never answered my question man... on which rom did it work so i can see how or in what mine differers besides the theme and the tweaks i made.

if its htc sync not working that means that a few other things might not work also and no one caught on to it yet.

one thing that i think might cause that is the usb tether hack that is included in the rom... that might screw things up with htc sync... so i wanna see if the rom u used had that included also or not... but thats my first guess.

I have not used the USB tether but Did use hot spot witch works great. Its something to do with the debugging I believe. Calk does not use the hot spot hack he just uses the wifi tether.

Can someone PLEASE tell me how to turn off the alarm on this ROM? I have NO idea and it wont stop in the morning...it is driving me nuts!

known issue with vanilla locker.
u need to set the alarm from the vanilla clock and not from the htc clock. ill skip the tech details about it.

ill put an updated rom on Saturday... it will include a new white htclockscreen i made by default so u could choose which ever u like better.

very strange... i used calk's rom as my base... so i can't understand why it wont work.
i am running a few more scripts at start up... but thats all.

try this for me...
hopefully u got adb.
plug up the phone and open the cmd window in winodws and go to the adb directory.

type in:

1. adb remount
2. adb shell rm /system/etc/init.d/01sysctl
3. adb shell rm /system/etc/init.d/04modules
4. adb shell rm /system/etc/init.d/07fix_permissions
5. adb shell rm /system/etc/init.d/99complete
6. adb reboot recovery

when in recovery clear cache and dalvik-cache. then reboot. it will take a little longer to reboot because the dalvik-cache was cleared...

this will remove the extra scripts that i added besides the zipalign one...
maybe this has something to do with it.

edit:
i just saw u wrote something about the wifi hack... well... that should not effect anything on the phone because it is only the hotspot apk that was tweaked and nothing else in the system... so i know it seems like it should have been something in the system... but not really... anyone can pull out my sprint hot spot apk and have a working sprint hot spot for free. (i pulled it from myn's rom)

amikam I GREATLY appreciate your fast response and have done exactly as you said.

If I just flash your new ROM from recovery it will keep ALL the settings and contacts, and pix, and texts, and information on my phone right? I shouldnt need to back anything up? I just wanted to make sure prior to flashing the new ROM.
