First please disregard my last post. I got confused with a theme, I always download the deodexed anyway but I am having a real problem.

I cant flash ANY rom. Everytime I try since I tried 4.4 it aborts automatically. I have never had issues in the past but now I cant even go backwards. Any ideas from anyone?

Based on your posts I assume you've been rooted awhile and have flashed ROMs before but just want to be crystal-what is your hardware version and what hboot are you on?
I ask because there are issues with the latest devices-004 hardware and 2.02/2.1 hboot.
For the rest of what I say I'll assume the above does NOT apply to you.

An inability to flash may indicate your recovery image got borked. If you cant flash ANY ROM or restore ANY Nand backup I'd start here.
If you are on Clockwork Mod recovery I'd suggest getting on amon RA-it's more reliable. If you are on amon you may want to consider reflashing the image.

Your SD card may be to blame. Before reformatting I'd just back it up and then wipe it clean and try to flash with nothing on the card but the ROM zip.
If that doesn't do it then I'd reformat.

I'm sure this aint it but I gotta ask--how are you wiping? Factory reset and dalvik? (I do each twice) I do those and then flash Calks Format All. It's overkill I know.

Ok I am obivously retarded. I have the latest CLockwork and I can't install 4.4 either. Just aborts every time. Where do I find Calk Format All and amon RA? I tried searching and just find more threads where people say to use them. Grrr.... Shoot me now and save the world.

I got Rom Manager by Clockwork Mod (from market) and then downloaded Amon_ra recovery. I never could get amon_ra to install untill I managed it with rom manager. Once it's on your sd card you can choose to instal it from that console. Only telling you this because I had a time of ot trying to flash it from recovery. Hopefully I've attached the full wipe file for you. I'll try to find link to amaon ra recovery too.

Everything looks good on this newest ROM. Couple of questions though...

I don't like the percent meter on the battery, how do I disable it?

I also don't like when you drag down the notifications bar how it's clear now and it has all those little buttons on the top that allow you to turn on blue tooth, 4g, etc, etc. How do I return that to stock?

**UPDATE** Got it work after switching recovery. Apparently Clockwork has changed to some new thing and I am not NAND unlocked yet. Might have to work on that some time when I have more time.

yeah i grabbed a 'free' album art grabber, seems to work except it stopped with a third of my tracks left to put art in and wont download any more
maybe its a daily thing where it'll only do around 500, i'll wait till tomorrow and see if it will grab more
