Sprint rep worked with me for about 15 minutes and then told me he did everything he could and I would need to take it into a sprint store to have them run diagnostics on it. I finally just cleaned out the cache's and reinstalled the v3.0 rom. Instead of doing a NAND restore I just installed missing files and data using Titanium Backup and it seems like the data is working as it should be (at least for now).

However, I am being hit with another issue...when I go to the camera I get the message "Flash is disabled due to low battery poser, cold weather, or a running application that uses a lot of power, like wi-fi hotspot and phone". I have a fresh battery with about 90% still available on it, I live in florida so I know it isn't cold, and nothing other than system apps are running and there isn't a lot of overhead with those. Anyone having this issue?

I redid the ##786# again tonight and had it reinstall everything but it still doesn't want to work. I have been sitting here for 5 minutes waiting for the market place to start downloading now and nothing is happening.

Any ideas what may be wrong?
If you had never rooted you'd most likely be on the 1.40 PRI so I dont see how getting back to it would have that effect. I've read that it'll either help or it wont, nothing on it hurting your data connection. I got much better DL speeds after going to the 1.40.

I'd try a complete wipe and reinstall of the ROM and see if that helps.

So you couldnt access the internet on Froyo 3.0? No issues here. Same suggestion as above, try a wipe and reinstall.

thanks iknowsquat for pointing it me in the directions of this theme and thanks OMJ for the dedoxed ROM (v3.0).

Never seen that before so I gotta ask the basics:
Where are you now?
Did you wipe first?
Do you have a nand backup you can restore?
If you get something booted I would try a whole new download of OMJ's ROM, wipe and re-flash.
Good luck.

Have you gone in to the android messaging app and then settings and uncheck received notifications?

I use handcent too and the way it works is you will still get your texts through the android app but you disable the notifications and just forget about the android app.

Just an update, I think sprint really was just having service issues. All data is working fine now on my phone and I have not done anything to it since I talked to the rep.

Weird....did you install hancent from a titanium backup or fresh install?

How long ago did you flash your OMJ rom?

If it were me, I would probably try uninstalling handcent and reinstalling and see if that works.

If not, I would reflash the rom and install it from scratch.

I'm not sure what's causing multiple notifications but that's what I would do.

Ok my Friend you get the WTH Award for this evening

Same advice as I said above. Do a complete wipe Factory reset 2X's wipe Dalvik 2X's (cache gets wiped with factory reset so there's no need to do it again if you did the factory reset) then reflash.

LOL-when I asked where you were I meant what condition is your device in?
Try what I said and report back. Re-download, wipe everything twice, reflash.
Good luck.

EDIT:@ALL-for anyone attempting the PRI fix whether it goes or not once your are done attempting I would update your Profile, that may help with any reception/data issue you are having...if it's not a Sprint network issue like The Hamburglar reported
