Hey OMJ, do you know how to fix this whole apps2sd? I installed an ereader on my phone and moved it to SD but when I put the epub file on the microsd it takes away from my internal memory.

Hey OMJ,

I searched for a flashable zip for the desire flip clock but only found Amikan's and its a little "digitized" (u can see the outline of the full digits). Where did get the desire one? I put Riptide's theme on and want to flash it over it. Can you point me to a flashable zip or post it up? Thanks!

this would be using the apps2sd built into froyo? either way, I have no idea man, sorry.

probably not...I don't like to update unless it's adding/updating to make a significant change in the ROM. The only updates I can think of is, gmail & market.

when we get a gingerbread leak, u can bet I'll have a new ROM :D

In the past, thanks to the help of the folks on the ppcgeeks forums, I was able to upgrade my Windows Mogul and touch Diamond to some roms that helped my phones work better, and even evaluated Android on the Diamond before committing to an Android based phone. So I now have an EVO. However, I am totally confused as to the process and versions of files I need to root and then load a new ROM on this awesome phone. I'll follow posts that link to other posts that then say something like 'outdated' then search my software version levels, and apparently my newer software levels are handled differently, or not ready yet. Can I take a few minutes of someones time that can give me sort of the 'end all be all' instructions to get my EVO rooted and running wireless tether (better battery life would be nice too). Thanks in advance.
Here's what I own (purchased on ebay)
Sprint EVO PC36100
Hardware Version 0003
Software Information:
android 2.2
Baseband 2.15.00.09.01
kernel 2.6.32.15-ge2fb08e htc-kernel@and18-2 #11
build 3.29.651.5 cl252548 release-keys
software 3.29.651.5
browser webkit 3.1
pri 1.77_003
prL 60672

I would start here http://unrevoked.com/rootwiki/doku.p...lic/unrevoked3 as far as I know this is the only way to root froyo aka 2.2

After rooted you can install whichever rom you want.. I have been with omj from the beginning and had no issues so I would suggest checking his rom out

first u need to know which hboot u have....your version could have either the old or new one.....depending on which hboot u have will depend which method of rooting u need to follow.

boot into bootloader to find hboot version....

-power down (hold power button)
-while holding down volume down, hit the power button
-keep holding volume down until bootloader screen appears
-hboot version is on the 2nd line from the top
