I'm glad I'm not the only one then. With as rock solid as this rom as been since the beginning, I thought it would be weird that it just sprang up and would have unaddressed by you. ; Well, I'll wait with the rest then, thanks as always OMJ. Love your rom sir.

If you didn't post already then update your PRL (even if you are on 60674) and then your Profile.
It has helped for some.

And to add what IKS said try deleting the weather/clock widget then putting it back and turning off location and gps then turning them back on.

ummmm...thats all I can think of but I do remember the problem happening a while back too.

I think might have "broke my wimax". I turned on 4G and had full 3 bars strong and after browsing the net for a bit I noticed the page would start to load and then completely stop loading. Tried restarting and other things and nothing would help. I just did a hard reset so I could get back online.

I DO use clockworkmod 2.6 and rom manager and titanium backup. It seems when I want to use 4G it only works for a few minutes then it's dead and I get weird Internet connectivity errors.

Is there a way to fix this besides unrooting my EVO and returning it to sprint? (I read somewhere that's what someone had to do)
What do I need to check out? What's my next step?

Edit : I just noticed when I turn on 4G it automatically turns off my data network (apn) and I can't turn it back on unless I turn off 4G.

I'm noticing pretty poor battery life on this rom compared to omj 3.8... Does anybody else agree? I'm wondering if it's that I'm missing some tweak or something....but it sucks. With 3.8 i was easily making it through the day but with this one I'm barely making it home. Any ideas?

Could someone post the stock kernel for this rom, thanks.

4G and 3G don't run at the same time, that is normal

... as far as 4G, did u have 3 bars of 4G when it dropped? 4G does still tend to be spotty in (many) places fyi ... not all it was hyped to be (IMO), personally I'm hoping Sprint switches to LTE unless they really ramp up the WiMax network

Yea I wouldn't panic yet. 4G acted funny for me when they were just getting it set up. There were times even that I showed connected but couldn't do anything with it. And Vancer is right- 3g and 4g do not run at same time.

It showed 3 bars of 4G even when I had no connection at all. If you go to menu/settings/wireless & networks and uncheck Mobile Network (and have wifi off of course) you will have NO internet connection. That box unchecks itself when I turn 4G on and then I have no Internet connection.

Edit : I just tried it again to run 4G and it turned off my data. Now even though I turned 4G back off I can't connect to the internet except via wifi. I guess I'll try a soft reset.

When u turn on WiFi or 4G it will turn off the mobile network but it shouldn't un-check it. It just changes the message (small type right beneath) displayed under "mobile network" ... since it stays checked, when u turn off 4G and/or WiFi then mobile network turns back in and the message below it also changes

Are u using menu/settings etc... to turn stuff on and off or the power controls widgets? ... try going through menu/settings and turn everything off except mobile network (3G) then power off and back on. Once booted go to menu/settings again and try turning on WiFi and see if it behaves as stated above, then do the same but cycle 4G rather than WiFi. If it works properly that way then its the power control widgets doing something weird and we'll go from there
