Debating on updating or waiting for the next release. Opinions? You know it takes a forever to reinstall all my apps is there a faster way? Can I use Titanium backup? If so how?

Yes u can use titanium back up not really good at explaining stuff but yes u can backup all ur apps u installed then restore them after flash

If you're trying to update without completely erasing your user customizations, I'm fairly certain that's not possible. Fashing the ROM update by itself will result in the same thing as wiping and then flashing. The wipe is just an extra precaution to prevent bad flashes, data corruption, etc. You should ALWAYS wipe befor flashing.

Someone chime in if I'm wrong.

I use ROM manager, didn't run the wipe commands (forgot to cuz testing ROM mgr no computer update) and updated from OMJ 1.2 to 1.3 with no problems -- I know it updated because I have the new apps - didn't even have to run Titanium restore

oh okay i see .. i try using titanium back up ... but it not restore my contacts =( idk why is there any other good program out there that let us back up our contacts,txts etc... i tried gmail too but it didnt work

so there u go, if updating from OMJ 1.2 to 1.3, a wipe may not be necessary....from what I've read, some say to always wipe

OMJ, wow, i used all your roms for the diamond a while ago, then switched to blackberry for a year, just got the EVO and definately gonna try your roms. Just gotta start reading all the "How to's"...don't know a thing about android.

Not sure if its possible or not, anyway to make witching from front and back camera easier. Maybe a button near the "flash" or "take pic" button?
