The ones with letters are still numbers. If you enter "A" in Hex then click Dec, it comes out as 10. Some decimal numbers will give you letters in hex, it's just how hex works. Just copy whatever the result is in hex to the app.reg file. Last edited by FH-CS; 08-07-2010 at 03:25 PM. |

Other than searching your registry, I don't really know what else to tell you. I haven't used 6.1 in a while now. To be honest, I don't know why there are two entries, but when I first went trying to figure out how set my backlight settings (as you are now) I noticed that both entries were present and had the same value, so I added them both to my app.reg file. |

When you're customizing a ROM with the registry like this, does the same tweaks and settings apply to Manila? For instance, I want to have the tabs prearranged in a way that makes more sense and change the "internet" shortcut on the home of the Manila plugin to "Comm Manager" by default instead of having to change it. Do you know where to find the registry settings for Manila (I know which ones they are for the other apps, 'cuz they are simple "single folder" items in the kitchen, but manila is more "spread out")? Thanks. You've been really helpful to the ROM. - 2 Bunny |

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...75&postcount=4 As far as rearranging the tabs, try looking in Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila\Configuration\#] It's much easier to look at this on a computer, so I'd recommend exporting that part if you can, and messing with the numbers from there. Make an app.reg file with it set up how you like, and the tabs should be prearranged. : ) |

- 2 Bunny PS: After this, I would replace my old "Manila SoftKeys Tweak" folder, right, since all the tweaks are now included in one app.reg file? |

Yep. I like to have my tweaks in separate EXT packages, but having all your tweaks in a single app.reg is fine as well. |

It does all the folders at once in this alphabetical order, right? It wouldn't do first the "EXT>6.1>A-z" folders, then the "EXT>Common>A-z" folders, etc, would it? Quote:
Now to just "pre tweak" Advanced Config and Diamond Tweak. LOL! The registry entries it creates aren't the configuration entries. I'll do a bit more digging and keep you guys posted if it needs more work. - 2 Bunny |
