21887 is working again!!! I started w/ 70 modules in slot 0, after recmodding 21887 using the automated script, it went down to 55. Then I went through the OEM, and recmodded a bunch, and then went through the SYS manually, and also updated the auto script. Now I am down to 10, which is very acceptable......cooked a rom, it's now ringing!!!

I will re-upload the kitchen, I will also include 28011 & 21882, since the verdict is not yet complete on 28014 & 21887.

I was thinking of removing all the manila 2.1 stuff....I would think if someone wants a 2.1 rom, then they would use sense 2.1 instead of manila 2.1....also, I read you cant use the manila 2.1 addons/tweaks on sense 2.1, so I might as well remove them also.....how does this sound?

I'm all for removing the manila 2.1. Are you saying the Kitchen you're uploading will not have 28014 or 21887?

yes, it will have 22882 & 21887, 28011 & 28014, that way it will give ya options if 21887 & 28014 are not up to par....some are saying 28014 was worse on battery.....personally, I will be sticking w/ 28014 to test.

just wondering if there was an e.t.a. on when the kitchen will be re-uploaded? I am going to flash back to shipped and was wondering how long I had to be on that junk...lol

Sounds wonderful with the request of having a titanium template (.erv) for each sys. PLease!!!!!!!!

Yup, huge error with 28014 for me. I cant add any contact without having their name go to <unamed> . even when creating a new contact.

+ for any existing contact, i cant click to edit "More" it just kicks me back to their contact page

ps. this happened again after i re-cooked a 28014 ROM

He does to a point, but really not enough anymore mainly because of Manila 2.5. Thing is he has a native 6.5 NK with extra room for modules, so he doesnt need to recmod extra files to have a perfectly working ROM. Remember modules are faster than files, so it can actually slow down performance if you recmod the wrong files. (such as services).

As OMJ has noted, there are scripts that will do this for you (just search the thread I linked). You don't need to have 0 modules in slot 0, I usually end up with around 20-30 these days with no noticeable difference between 20-30 and 0.

edit: guess I should have noted that recmodding = turning modules to files.. (I suggest to use the superrecmod util in that edtp thread)
