To add to the strangeness... My wife and I are using a Titanium based on 21887 cooked in OMJ's kitchen. She also seems to be experiencing some no-ringing events with standard wma ringers. Her custom mp3 ringers seem to be working fine. I on the other hand use only standard wma ringers and all seems to be working fine.

More interesting information.
I had a ROM working, but after syncing and installing everything, the ringing stopped.
So I ran Clear Storage and kept calling as I added everything back in a little at a time. And even my custom ringtones are still working. Now I'm syncing and adding the last few apps in... and going to sleep.
We'll see if it continues to work in the morning.

Yup, huge error with 28014 for me. I cant add any contact without having their name go to <unamed> . even when creating a new contact.

+ for any existing contact, i cant click to edit "More" it just kicks me back to their contact page

ps. this happened again after i re-cooked a 28014 ROM

I think I might have it. I reloaded my 28011 custom ROM that had the ringer problem, and decided to start disabling items one at a time until the ringer worked. It looks like the IPSECVPN item under the SYS category was doing it for me. Going to finish customizing and sync with Activesync to see if it still rings.

Dammit, that wasn't it after all. Like Trident, my ringer stopped working at some point after flashing. I didn't install any programs or setup Activesync. It must have been some setting that I customized. I have never tested the ringer before customizing a ROM before, so I never made the connection. Testing now.

I'll second this one.. I've been seeing this with a couple of my builds.. The background is black, and the text is grey, so you can read it, but at the right angle, and the right light....

Ok, after some more testing, I think I've got some answers. IPSECVPN is definitely causing the ringer problem, but I was also installing S2U2 v2.21 from a cab and that was also triggering the problem. I don't know if cooking in S2U2 from an ext causes the same problem or not. I'm not saying this is a complete list of the troublemakers, but I've now successfully setup my 28011 ROM without both of these items, and haven't had a problem with my ringer at all. I'd be interested in hearing what others have found.

(by that I mean every tab has a number, so if you delete tab number 7 you have to change 8 to 7, 9 to 8 etc etc..) then in the app.reg file just set the 'Enable' reg for the tab in question to 0.

ex of page in 26948339_manila, just delete the entire entry you want and reorder the page orders.

<Page Order="11" Name="docexplorer.page" PackageName="HTC" Title="[[IDS_DOCUMENTSTITLE]]">

<ComponentReference Name="icon_preview" Mode9Path="HTC\DocExplorer\docicons.mode9" Component="DocumentExplorer_Preview"/>

Thanks for the info! What's a Doc Explorer Tab? Just curious

Thanks again omj and everyone else for all their work on the roms.
Just a tip to help with that confusion (it's gotten me before too) You can always set the PP in the VK before building the .nbh file. Click the "Other" Button in the top left corner and there's a box to set the PP value which is defaulted at 6.
