This is a modified manila.exe that has the position fix for 6.5.3....I just threw it in there when testing roms, I meant to create a EXT for it.

I'd like to use this modified manila.exe in your 1.6 kitchen. Can I just copy the 'files' folder from the 1.7 kitchen, or do I have to edit a file in the kitchen to point to it?

Well, I decided to just cook a ROM and see what happens. It looks like manila is positioned correctly, so I guess just moving the file worked.

I didnt change post #1 cuz some of my rom users were having issues & I wasnt sure if it was related to the new 1922 packages. It turns out Amarullz said it was caused by manila locker & posted a fix. I still think I'm gonna repack/re-upload v1.7 w/ that fix & also seperate the modifed manila.exe for 6.5.3.

Yeah, I went back to 1.6 because I was having problems with the messaging client and entering recipients in 1.7. The modified manila.exe works great in 1.6. I could probably have tried rolling back some of the 1922 modules to 1921, but 1.6 is working great for me.

Are you not having messaging problems with 1.7? When I tried to compose a message, it was not pulling up my contacts when I typed their names and there were some graphical glitches.
