Re: |VICT|ROM|6.5|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Genesis' (23016) ** || Built Sep 6 ||Manila 2.1!

On the immediate battery drain of of a few percent, I don't know if that is really accurate. It will immediately say something like 92% for me, but then it will remain like that for a very long time. After the registry hack, my phone has seen amazing battery life, ie, as long as I charge it at night, I get through the day, doing whatever I want with it and don't have to think twice about the battery life.

He must mean does it tether without a PAM plan. Yes it does, just choose "DATA" instead of "Phone as Modem" when using Internet Sharing.

Anyone having memory probs with this ROM? I flashed after going back to stock and clearing storage, but after installing this ROM and a few necessary cabs (like alltel arcsoft), I am left with barely over 5mb of storage space. My regular apps are all installed to internal storage, I only installed arcsoft and a couple other items to the device. I also set the Opera Cache to internal storage, based on Riley's tweak in post #4. Despite all this, free space on the device has gone from 5mb to 200kb in the last two days. In that time I haven't installed anything else. What could be causing this? Call history logs or something??? 5MB eaten up??

Hey, the main culprit I can find that is eating up memory is HTC Album. I have seen close to 10mb of memory literally dissappear (depending on how many pics you have). The cache is in the device memory for the album, even if you search an internal storage folder for pics, its cache will go to device memory. That way it will be able to access the information quicker. For example, I usually like to swap out wallpapers fairly often and just visiting the internal storage where I house the wallpapers takes up alot of space. The best thing we can hope for is a clean rom which NRG will get us in future releases. this htc album cache is not uncommon but its more noticeable due to the lack of memory in the loaded rom.

Re: |VICT|ROM|6.5|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Genesis' (23016) ** || Built Sep 6 ||Manila 2.1!

Just flashed your rom and it is awesome. It's my first experience of 6.5 but I have a few questions.

1. How do you move installed programs from the start menu into folders. Example. I installed clear temp and I want to place the icon into the utilities folder. How would I do this.

2. Is there a way to get the call history shortcut on the home screen of touchflo3d? Not a big deal but would be nice.

Thanks for the help.

For Number 1. yes I think you can by doing the following. establish active sync, go to device>Windows folder>Start Menu>Programs. You can grab clear temp and move it into the folder of your choice. Should work but I havent tried this in a while.

for number 2, NRG removed this from the homescreen, most likely to free up space for more calendar events. You can view it by touching the clock and the third icon brings up call history. Hope this helps.

Number 1 you can do through the regular File Manager with Cut/Paste.

little problem .. the Feature > "My contact Card" makes google sync impossible .. i mean because of this "contact" that is ME ... i can't sync my contacts with Microsoft Exchange server (m.google.com)

So maybe it would be good to take it of for the next release

I appreciate vry much your work ! keep going on ! your rom is the best !!!
