I also set the Opera Cache to internal storage, based on Riley's tweak in post #4. Despite all this, free space on the device has gone from 5mb to 200kb in the last two days. In that time I haven't installed anything else. What could be causing this? Call history logs or something??? 5MB eaten up??
Hey, the main culprit I can find that is eating up memory is HTC Album. I have seen close to 10mb of memory literally dissappear (depending on how many pics you have). The cache is in the device memory for the album, even if you search an internal storage folder for pics, its cache will go to device memory. That way it will be able to access the information quicker. For example, I usually like to swap out wallpapers fairly often and just visiting the internal storage where I house the wallpapers takes up alot of space. The best thing we can hope for is a clean rom which NRG will get us in future releases. this htc album cache is not uncommon but its more noticeable due to the lack of memory in the loaded rom.
