Ok... task bar issue is not htc task manager... I'm gonna try removing my custom taskbar icons and see if that does it.

yeah that might work, good to hear that htc task isnt the problem.

If you change your custom icons, might i suggest the battery icon that shows all digits and not just by tens? (e.g. 53%)

It was the custom icon pack. It appears the zoomed/enlarged taskbar is pulling icons from a different spot in the file, so custom icon packs will have to be updated for the latest sys. I doubt it will be done quickly tho since it appears they haven't made the change for all icons - text/email notifications seem to pull from the old spot still. I'd assume custom taskbar makers like TSOwen will wait for that to be updated as well before updating the icons.

Sorry, I made that a little confusing. There are 2 issues -
1. HTC task manager's task bar icon interfere's with the clock now. To correct this, I have to disable the taskbar icon for the time being, so you'll have to access it thru the start menu.

2. The custom icon packs cause the enlarged taskbar ( when you click on it) to show up blank. So I am not using custom icons for now.

If I get time I'll dig into it all myself, but this will probably be how the 23028 rom gets released.

Hey orangekid, I would agree with this but their is one reason I like the 10% increments, well two reasons. first, if you're going to flash a rom and as you know the rom needs to be above 50%, the 10% increments is great because any figure 41% and up is considered 50% and you can flash away. I know trusty bootloader can get you to force the flash but I like that it buys us another 9% battery for flashing purposes. secondly, battery life on these devices suck for lack of better word. 1% increments just annoy me seeing the numbers march off and remind me of how fast the battery goes when using the device. I know this one is more mental on my part but that's why I like 10% increments.

would it be possible to keep the taskbar but disable the clock, I don't ever look at the taskbar clock anyways...

true I didn't think of that. I thought it was just a visual deal, I didn't think it actually told your phone that it had 50%...

yeah it sucks seeing the single digits go down, but it equally sucks looking at 50% then seegin 40% to seconds later becuase it went from 41 to 39, a littel misleading @ times.
