which build? it might be a 6.5.3 issue because I haven't had that problem wiht 6.5.

Yeah running 28005.3.0. where did you get build 6.5 from?

on the first post of this thread., he did a 21882 (latest 6.5 build) as well as 28002 and 28005. try the 21882.

Yeah, I always do the flash dance as well. Tried it twice before I moved on. I like NRG's Sense ROM, but it doesn't have enough free space for my taste. I also like Opera 10, which is included in this ROM.

Reese,

Here's a short list of issues I am running into with your sense ROMs (for consolidation purposes) as well as some others mentioned here (so you don't have to go back thru this whole thread)

1) youtube not working, gives error, according to Mystery its a manila wvga file

2) sunshine animation not working, gives giant white squares instead of sun rays, but actually moves at normal speed (which is good because OMJs is super slow)

3) a couple of people have been not getting any ringers to work or vibrate, however the ringer has been working fine with me (I'm on 21882, it could be a 6.5.1 or 6.5.3 issued.)

4) Windows live does not work on any build, someone claimed Mystery got windows live to work, but I flashed his ROM and his doesn't either, neither does OMJs, no one can seem to get Windows Live to work on any sense 2.5 build.

5) when switching to titanium, I installed Clauncher and it does not work at all, when I try to add an app it gives a mortscript error of "app1 is not associated with any programs..." and no programs can be added, I have had this error on Mystery and OMJs sense 2.5 roms as well (with titanium)

6)xperia taskmanager not working well with 28005, but that seems to just be a build issue and not something you can really fix except use a later sys when it is released.

Once again thanks reeseboy, if anyone sees something I missed as far as issues are concerned lets post it.

These errors seem to be not so much your ROM as everyone's sense 2.5, so if OMJ, Mystery, or anyone cooking sense finds a fix for one of these issues, please post it.

Hotmail (windows Live) issue resolved! i don't know how, but im using Energy ROM 6.5 with sense 2.5, it doesnt even come with windows live, but I manually installed the cab from microsoft, and it works!

so reese, maybe try cooking the rom WITHOUT any windows live, and as part of the customization after the flash, have it install the cab from microsoft, that should make it work maybe?

go with Energy ROM (the sense 2.5 with wm6.5) for right now till DRB fixes his sense 2.5 issues. it's the best one so far.

yeah I hear what you mean, DRB's roms are the best on space and usually the best on bugs. I'd go with NRG and manually install opera 10 until DRB works out the bugs then go back to DRB.

Right now I'm playing around with OMJ's Sense kitchen, trying to tailor a ROM to my needs. I just can't get things as smooth or nice looking as the chefs around here. I have a feeling the visual kitchen has a learning curve that I haven't mastered yet.

yeah cooking your own is the way to go, from what i've seen the visual kitchen is harder to learn, but once you know it it's a lot better to get your roms cooked, if only I had more time...

If you DO cook a sense 2.5, pay attention to ensure titanium is bug free (as much as possible) and cook it without windows live, a later installed cab will make it actually work.
