Re: 7/21/09 - ROM | Kitchen | SYS - WM 6.5 21921,23008 - Generic | All Carriers -

Hi All!

First of all, thanks for the ROM, really nice seeing how fast WM 6.5 loads in this one.

I've installed 23008. These are the problems I'm currently facing:

- When I have an incoming call, I'm not able to mute the ring unless I select to ignore the call. Is there any way to install the HTC Dialer?

- When I receive text messages, I'm not able to reply because when I select it, it goes to the text message inbox, but it appears empty.

- E-mail configuration for both Windows Live and Gmail (IMAP) deleted by themselves. It now shows as if I don't have a mail account configured in the device.

Other than that, I really like the eye candy, and the phone performs pretty well. Congratulations for your hard work!!!

It honestly sounds like you need to do a flash back to an old stock rom then back to 23008.

Thanks for the reply. I thought that when reflashing, all the ROM was re-written. I will try, but do you know how going back to an old ROM, and then back to 23008 could help? I had a stock ROM before installing 23008.

Thanks again!

I don't think you can with setvolume. I think thats part of HTC volume control.

You would have to uninstall setvolume and then find a cab of HTC Volume to install. The reason I don't have HTC Volume installed is because the in call volume doesn't work with the default wm 6.5 dialer in HTC Volume. You would need to install HTC Phone canvas with it, which then causes a bad delay with ringing when the wm 6.5 lock is enabled.

Well... it looks like I might be able to post a couple sys'es tonight if everything works out right. I've been trying to get 21828 (an AT&T build) up but haven't had very good luck lately. And it also looks like 21932 is on its way - a chinese one has been released already and Da_g and Conflipper both say an english version is on the way, so I'm gonna wait for it.

...Just giving everyone an update...
