I believe that is talking about multi-select in Explorer and Outlook- not multi-touch, where one can select and activate multiple points on the touchscreen to work independently or together.

Try to do what I mentioned in my first post about this.
I'd be happy to be wrong. Either way- it should probably be edited so that the screen can stay in the "up" position without being "held" there.

Yeah... you are correct. Sorry I jumped into that one without understanding what you wanted to do. I am no longer using the manila with the profile tab so I can't test it, but I see what you are saying.

Heads up warning guys, my contacts were nuked - back them up before you sync to make sure. (I can call them and see their numbers, but I cannot look at their details - when I click on them in poutlook, their page is a blank grey screen. Any fix? How can I manually delete all my contacts (I can't use poutlook to do it, it freezes)?

Perhaps this is common throughout all installs? Or is it just me? BTW The very first sync to the WM 6.5 Diamond failed. The second sync was successful. Perhaps this is the cause of the problem.

Randomly nuked, or did you just reflash, rebuild? If so, what kitchen? Plz give some details.

I am hard resetting as we speak... I will update if the issue was fixed or not. I am using the preview prebuilt ROM.

On the bright side, everything was snappy, and the OS can successfully distinguish between stylus and finger input (with stylus you can drag-select, with finger you can drag-pan (this feature is called TouchRecognizer). Very nice.

Do NOT use a flicking motion in POutlook. It is WAY off. Way too sensitive with the flicking and will scroll right to the end of your contacts on one flick. Trying to grab the screen to stop the scroll only makes it scroll all the way backwards! It's pretty frustrating/funny to see.

One question: Does this build include the new Dialer?

I'm guessing new reg edits will turn up to tweak the scrolling.

Hard reset - bug is still here. Will build my own ROM and see how that goes.

First sync will ALWAYS fail with the prebuilt rom, and even making my own contacts, they are corrupted - so not a fault of the sync, but rather this build.

Question: Is the new dialer present in this build? I am wondering if I should go through the trouble of disabling the HTC Dialer to get a look at it.

New dialer does not appear to be preset yet. Using iContacts as my contact manager it crashes as soon as I launch it. Does appear to be some new contact related stuff going on.
