While I haven't even tried the ported VGA version yet, if you look at my WVGA kitchen, Manila 2.5 engine OEM(MASD section at the bottom), you will what is need to make it run properly. And yes, CFC compressing can make manila 1/2 the size, so for the Diamond, it will make a difference

You can remove footprints by doing the following.
1) make an app.reg and place it after all of the manila packages (ie in zTweaks folder) and put the following in it. You can see that I've removed ("Enable"=dword:000000000) Footprints and Twitter in my example. I am not sure if you have to have the order correct with disabled ones at the end...that's just what I did and it worked.

2. Edit 26948339_manila with a text editor (think it's .xml file). Delete the footprints section and fix Page Order numbering. This is so manila does not search for the footprints tab from what I've read.

So if I wanted to keep the Twitter tab I would just change that dword to 1?
Also, anyone thats used the new 4.2 VK, did he include the 2.5 manila or is he still waiting on cfc?

He did not include. He may be waiting on cfc or he may not want to put it into the diamond kitchen at all. I personally wouldnt want to use it on the regular until all the bugs are worked out.

Ya so I've read, chainfire said he compressed 40M of images down to 6.. Thanks for info on dependent packages too!

Cool thanks, knew there was a way, just happened to notice today while cooking how big footprints really is. Did the first part already but as you stated in there is a spot you have to edit to allow manila to load as it looks for the footprint engine and files regarldess of whether it is enabled or not

Nope not included, chainfire said he would release the cfcgui editor with compatibility with 2.5 tomorrow.

It's a matter of semantics here. If the code isn't changed, then it's the same as an older build. WinDiff or WinMerge will show this on comparison, which I have done on many occassions.
