Was there a second 3.8 version that went up? I get confused when there is a second upload and the version numbers don't change.

I downloaded the sprint base rom with extras 3.8. It installed fine. I left the phone untouched overnight. This morning all my programs have lost there icons (they have the generic white background with windows flag icon) and I cannot open any program. If I reset my phone it does a hard reset.

im not sure about the ROM, but i don't believe the kitchen has the files included... so i would think that the ROM doesn't include them either.

this happened to me last night, thought i had done something wrong. after the icons disappeared i wasn't even able to boot my phone.

tried a hard reset and couldn't get past the windows mobile boot screen. had to flash back to 3.7.1
