no your not alone sailrace I have the same no ring issue . mine will not use .wma files as a ring tone. what I did as a temp fix was to change my favorite ring to waver format .wav then put it in the ring folder in windows. sounds the same but the file is way larger then needed. I just can't seem to figure out what it is that I am cooking in wrong! but that fix works till we figure it out.

by the way running rc4 4.6 with tp2

The Sprint and Telus ones are in the sticky threads... not sure about the alltel one, sorry.

The shipped rom will put your phone back to the same state it was in when it left the factory.

Like personally, what do you replace?

I use it to change the calendar link on the Home tab (below call history) to open up PI8.5's Agenda view. On the People tab, All People opens up PI8.5 Contacts view. Tapping on the clock opens my Start menu.
I might make a few other changes, but for now, everything is peachy.

Anyone seeing high battery drain with 21042 RC4? I was at 100 percent at about 2am. I didnt use my phone at all because I was in bed but when I woke up at 8, 20 percent left.

I can't seem to figure it out either. I haven't done anything strange, and haven't cooked anything strange unless there is some conflict with the new modules and using the original Manila engine.

The big issue is the ringer problem. When i do a fresh flash, it seems to ring just fine (and i use the Generic 3 ringer, always). Then when i use activesync and sync to my exchange and everything loads up, the ringer stops giving any audible feedback. The screen comes on, my S2A screen shows up, and it flashes like it's ringing, but there is no sound.

I only seem to be able to get it to work with 21028. I'm going to try the new kitchen when it comes out, but for now....i'm stuck here.
