I just was never able to put my finger on a .dll or reg entry that was causing the problem. I assume that you touch them from time to time due to the inconsistancy of my ringer from kitchen to kitchen.

If you have not already found it I am sure you will, and if the problem flares up for me again I am glad to shoot you my build. I don't insert anything external to your posted kitchen when building, so maybe it will help if this really becomes a thorn in your side.

If that's the case, then the problem looks to be the tweak from Diamond Tweak to reduce ring delay, which I've included in my Tweaks file for a while

Why is there such a memory difference between the 4.6RC3 and the 4.6RC5. I cooked the same TP2 rom using both (SYS 21042) and the RC3 seems to use a lot less memory. Also the ringer issue from 4.5 and 4.6RC4 don't happen in either RC3 and RC5 so I really don't know what is causing the issue. I still can't get the direct sms not to crash from the messaging tab. Been looking up fixes but nothing seems to work. The tab will always crash when i try to get into the TP2 sms screen.

More OEMs = more files. Just the Rhodium ringtones take up over 10MB on the phone, so if you want more memory, select less things is all I can say

Neither did I but it did affect some people, so that's why I was asking those that were affected

SMS is crashing for you? There was a fix for it a while ago which should fix as I did update those files again but I still haven't had a problem with SMS crashing, so that's why I left it with the updated files

Calku - i did not have the ringer problem in the 4.5 kitchen. And when i cooked the 21028 SYS into the RC4 Kitchen i didn't have any issues either. but 21038 and 21042 in 4.6 both were problematic.

Hmm... I have used this for a long time. Maybe it is why I don't get the ringer issues. You are supposed to use wav files with it, but maybe it will help reveal something about the problem.
