The ONLY downside to running the ROM I built with the kitchen is less than great battery life (compared to Con's stuff). Perhaps you can get with him Calc and see what it is he pulled to get the battery to stretch so far.

I don't understand how flashing back to stock and back should work if it is indeed a problem of changing sys often.Stock rom has a different sys. Wouldn't it make more sense to perform a bunch of hard resets?

You have to be joking. Battery life on this kitchen is amazing. You are doing something wrong.

It might have something to do with the fact the the stock/shipped rom somehow gets the phone back to ground zero ... who knows. It's hard to argue with the fact that it works ... and has been repeated many times with success.

I guess I shouldn't talk because I am not on Alltell and I don't use precooked roms anymore so I have never used Conflipper's, but I mean those guys must be getting 3 straight days of battery to be saying battery is not good on Calc's.

im getting an error msg whenever i try to build my rom which says the file temp/dump/737398_manila already exists.. im getting that error msg whenever its in the process of installing the oem/manila - black(or any other i try to use) folder .. i tried pulling out the file in the temp/dump folder but it automatically put its back in there and i checked the oem/manilla folders and the file isn't even in there/// somebody help me!! and one more thing .. i cant ever get the sprint clear digital clock to work.. i just get white squares.. if any body can help me that would be great..

Are you trying to use the HD manila engine with the old school manila style or vice versa?
