Re: [ Mar 10 \ OS 5.2.21028 v4.5 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.5, ROMs & Cabs

Someone else asked earlier, and i wanted to confirm / ask as well. Is anyone having email sync issues with activesync? I flashed a custom rom to 4.6, but am still using the standard manila because i like the sprint theme.

The new icons make it all worth it. Problem is, i'm not getting any automatic sync / update of new emails coming in. If i manually sync, they show up, but if i don't, i'd never know they were there.

Anyone else running into this problem?

Thanks

In response to your A, I posted this morning saying it was fixed. I belive Calcu has the updated OEM in his kitchen.

If not, I can upload the OEM for you to use.

Yeah it's either check the site everyday and get the betas right away or stay away from the site, miss the betas, but actually keep a rom on my phone for more than 3 days. Hmm I like the free time I get by not updating constantly, but miss out on not having the latest and greatest.

Really doesn't matter if you're late ... Calcu's always got something new cooking ... definitely an "E ticket" ride!

I saw that but I asked in return if it was just somewhat fixed up or is it 100% flawless?

I used 4.6 a few weeks ago and thought it worked great. I use Direct Push and would receive messages right away. Does it make you enter your phones SMS address after syncing the first time? just wondering if your Exchange server is using the AUTD feature or the actual DirectPush.

AUTD sends a text to the phone, DirectPush essentially the phone is connected via HTTP to the server and polls the mailbox for changes.

I've seen AUTD text's misconfigured or the ISP actually block those or the phone never receives them. So not sure where your problem lies. You could flash back to stock and see if you're still having trouble.

All that said, Activesync with Exchange has worked for me in just about every ROM I've burned. I use Mighty's, Calcu's, Juicy's, IndaGroove's, RSTG's never had a problem with any. (Ok, IndaGroove's WM6.5 I did, but it's a known issue.)

Re: [ Mar 10 \ OS 5.2.21028 v4.5 ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.5, ROMs & Cabs

Using the tp2 RC rom for the entire day i have noticed my data connection drop and stay off, I have to either soft reset the phone or to turn airport mode on and off. to solve this can we incorporate always roaming? I haven't had this happen to be since the stock sprint rom.

Active sync is still an issue as i cant sync my phone to my computer.

It feels like my battery is discharging at a higher rate.

Going into all setting from the setting tabs causes a slight lag for the window to open and when it does it jumps around all the settings tabs then stops on system.

contact list (all people) crashes occasionally. Also even tho all my numbers are backed up and reloaded into the phone when people call me it shows their number but not their name.

I Know this is wishful thinking but is there to incorporate the sprint clock into the tp2 theme? when i tried all it did was turn the flip clocks white and unresponsive.

I'm using the fixed Diamond 2 keyboard that law is using and it's as close to 100% flawless as you'll get in the real world., haptic works, and so does visual never goes away.
