Re: [ 10-22 ][ v4.1 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

... dumb question coming up... how do I get the start screen from page 1 that's the 3rd (far right) screen shot?

I like titanium, not manila so much, but that seems somewhere in between.

that is the SPB ROM, there is a link for it in the second post on the first page. Otherwise you might be able to get the cab from http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/

That is the Spb MobileShell3.5 home screen. You can install Calk's SpbMS ROM or just install MS3.5. It has a 15 day trial if you aren't sure about purchasing it.

Re: [ 10-22 ][ v4.1 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

I just cooked my own ROM and its working very well (6.5 21869)
and I made a MS3.5 ROM, but it still has Titaniam,
What do I need to remove to get rid of it?
Also, how much memory does it use? If its very minimal Im not gonna worry bout it but if it can gain me 5-10mb Ill cook it again and remove it.
Thanks!

I don't think you can remove titanium. What I did was unchecked all the extra stuff like the skin, contacts, weather and stuff for it. My rom ended up with about 90mb free.

You can remove titanium by de-selecting bronze, BronzeNonEA, and CHome from the SYS. Those folders in the sys are about 1 mb, so I don't think it really saves much space (but I have not compared a ROM with and without them, so I don't know for sure).

Yeah thats the only thing i use. I think he was confused on what he was saying. We were talking about the HTC Messaging client and he said his was working for sprint. I havent tried it yet but from most of the sprint user i have seen use it, say it doesnt work.

Re: [ 10-22 ][ v4.1 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

Hey everyone, I'm looking for some help:

I've cooked this rom - http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=93460 - using Calk's visual kitchen. There are a few customizations for Manila 2.1 like CompactHome, CompactManila, CompactInternetTab, Compact4ColumnProgramTab, and Panoramic V2b mod...

The problem I am having is that when I click "All Programs" or add a program from the Manila Programs tab, all of my programs line up as icons in one skinny column where the text is directly overlayed on the icon below its designated icon. Clicking the icon instead of the text allows me to select the program.

Has anyone seen this before? Do you know where the settings are (possibly a regedit or manila edit?) to give me 4 or so columns in the all programs menu? I have seen the cabs, but I think they will change my compactManila 4programsTab mod. I'm looking for a way to specifically fix only the All programs menu from the Manila Programs Tab.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

jakewill

Ever since Sprint allowed MMS.
