Re: [ 10-22 ][ v4.1 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

I just installed build 21869 on my Sprint Diamind, and all i can is is WOW!! I have actually tried every new CDMA rom out there, and nothing comes close to this ROM.

It looks and feels great, operates extreemly smoothly and is fast! Love the fact that the Start button is at the top, also love the QuickMenu, Manila looks very elegant, etc...! Thank you very much Calkulin!!

Ohh, can you instruct me on how to change the wallpaper and have it flow through all of the tabs - like you curretnly have it. I like your wallpaper but the Sun ray on the end tabs kind of bothers me.

I am using that newer dialer in the kitchen. I think that is the one Calkulin was referring too.

The disadvantage to having the dynamic PP [set at 0] seemed to be that the OS took a little time to adjust and that sometimes-lag annoyed some people.
IMHO, a minimum static PP should be set to 12Mb.
Yeah i dont run alot of programs at the same time but i have a feeling the 6mb pp is causing the rom to lag.

Yeah it is. I changed mine to a 24 MB page pool from 6 and I could tell a difference. And no I don't run out of RAM if you're asking, but it definitely makes the phone faster.

Mine grey out as well, but I remember some earlier builds that didn't. I was mainly addressing his concern regarding data/battery usage. Thanks.

My experience as well. First time through, got in a hurry and forgot the pp changer. Re-cooked with 24pp, and quickness returned.

Hey Calku, any fixes or options for Message Client. I'm on Sprint and can't Picture Mail. Does Arcsoft MMS work with it?

Help....
I was looking to try the "sense-like" clocks. Did a build last night with the white transparent that is default. So today I wanted to try the white with black letters. Did the same build and the clock stays 0:00 all the time. Went back and took out the compact home, still no luck.
Anyone else seen this ?
P.S. did search the forum and google, no luv there...
